The Dismemberment Plan: What Do You Want Me To Say? EP

Released in 2000 together with Filler records. This is a reprint of the original release from Desoto records that came out in 1997. This one came out before their ‘break-through’ album Emergency and I and their European tour with Pearl Jam. The Title song also appears on Emergency and I, the b-side is the excellent unreleased track Since You Died. Produced by J. Robbins. Only 500 were pressed exclusivly for Europe.

No Knife / Sunshine EP

Released in 2001. Another co-release with Filler records, this 7" was made for what was supposed to be their European summer tour 2000. But No Knife had to cancel because they were asked to open up for Sunny Day Real Estate in their native country USA. Nevertheless it became an excellent release of two interesting bands. The No Knife song goes on where their last album left off. The song sounds a little harsher what really makes it one of the punkiest things they ever put out. No Knife rocks like never before. Tsjech Republic’s Sunshine surprises their friends and their enemies with another post-punk / new wave song with all the keyboards and sequencers in the right places. But not as ‘techno’ as the songs from their split 12" with their buddies At the Drive-In. ‘The Doll and the Midnight Sushi Orgy’ kicks some serious fucking ass! A perfect way to check out two amazing bands or two complete your collection if you’re already a fan from one of the bands. Isn’t that what splits are made for?
