Dear Record Exchange customers,

With the stay-at-home order issued for the state of Idaho, The Record Exchange is making changes to our business to comply with the order and keep our employees safe.

We already had made the decision to close our doors to the public, and now we are suspending phone orders. You can, however, still shop The Record Exchange via our three online storefronts: (new vinyl inventory, new/used CD/DVD/Blu-ray inventory). Your order will be shipped directly from the warehouse of our third-party distributor, and the cool thing is the sale still goes to The Record Exchange! Shipping is still available worldwide, and domestic orders of $50 or more qualify for free media mail shipping. Preorders for upcoming new releases remain available as well. You can also access the online shop via the free Record Exchange app. (Discogs, eBay). Our shops on Discogs and eBay have hundreds of rare, collectible and used vinyl/CD titles, markdown new vinyl titles, DVDs, Blu-ray, laserdiscs and VHS. We’ve added hundreds of titles to these shops in the past few weeks and will continue to add products while our physical location is closed.

Another way you can support the store during this temporary closure is to purchase a Record Exchange gift card for future shopping. A gift card doesn’t expire for 18 months and can be used at any time, including the rescheduled Record Store Day on June 20.

You can also choose to make a straight-up donation to the store to help us pay the bills until we’re back to business-as-usual.
